Ben Rudisin, Dancer

Ben Rudisin was born in Woodbridge, Virginia and trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and Houston Ballet II in Texas. Mr. Rudisin joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2013 and became a Second Soloist in 2017.

 

Mr. Rudisin has danced such lead roles as Diaghilev in Nijinsky, Rothbart in Swan Lake and Prince Gremin in Onegin. His repertoire includes Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Icicle in The Nutcracker, The Mad Hatter in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, L'Allumeur in Le Petit Prince as well as roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Giselle, The Winter’s Tale, Nijinsky, Manon, La Sylphide, A Streetcar Named Desire, Frame by Frame, The Four Seasons, The Concert, Allegro Brillante, Symphony #9, Carousel (A Dance), Genus, Emergence, Cacti,  Paz de la Jolla, Being and Nothingness and The Dreamers Ever Leave You.
